It’s the most wonderful time of the year

Spain in February is cold

Yep it’s training camp time. Due to the mostly great weather we have here in southern California, several teams have their training camps in our vicinity. So as I look at my calendar there are five training camps, as well as three days of track racing that ROAD will attend. How we accomplish covering all these events is simple: divide and conquer. Tim lives just north of L.A. and will attend camps in that direction. I live in Long Beach and will cover camps in the San Diego area. I generally don’t like traveling alone, but in this case we have to separate in order to cover everything. Then in February I go to Mallorca, Spain for the Saunier Duval training camp. I return on the 14th and two days later drive to San Francisco for the start of the Tour of California. As we attend these camps I’ll post photos and text as I have time. Yep the season has, as usual, started off with a bang.

Going to the PowerTap training camp. Hope I don’t get dropped too badly…

One guess on whose team launch this was

You are going to be a busy dude, but there are worse places to go than Mallorca in February for sure.

    Neil–a question.

Do you know the meaning of the acronym–RAGRAI?

RAGRAI stands for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa

Sorry I left the “B” out that acronym but you still knew the correct answer!

Question #2–have you ever ridden in it?

    No I haven’t, but I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.
