I was about to post about my recent trip to the Shimano factory in Malaysia when suddenly my cell phone kicked to life. It was recent cyclocross national champion Tim Johnson. He was sitting in the Boston airport on his way to Belgium to contest a few World Cups. I conducted my interview discussing such topics as the national championships in Kansas City, designing the perfect gloves and having a bike named after him. Then halfway through the interview he says he needs to send me a video. It’s Johnson driving circles in the rental car at a snowy abandoned Kansas City parking lot. His partner in crime is Jeremy Powers. So for your viewing pleasure I present driving with Johnson.
