At times the chasing peloton was cruising at 13 miles per hour. The word in the press room is that Hincapie has this race won and the only fight will be for second and third on GC.
Just like we thought the early break was reeled in with one lap to go of the 5-mile circuit. We can expect tomorrow to end in a field sprint as well. What is nice to see is the crowds lining the streets. Not as huge as Tour of California, but thick along the finishing straight.
