Sunday September 19th isn’t just a day for the professional cyclists. That morning at 7:30 the Stars & Stripes Challenge Ride rolls out from downtown Greenville and cyclists can ride the same 22-mile loop that that the pros will contest just hours later. The ride is non-competitive, so just just enjoy the scenery.
To participate either raise or donate $70 with the proceeds going to help the Palmetto Peloton Project continue their fight against cancer. Online registration ends on Wednesday, September 15.
After the ride find a good spot on the side of the road and become one of the 50,000 spectators watching the battle for the coveted national championship jersey. It’s going to be a great day.
