Tune into your favorite live broadcast of the Tour de France on Sunday, July 3 at 8 AM and then join us here for witty banter with Neil Browne and other cycling fans!

The team time trial returns after a one-year hiatus. Talking to Garmin-Cervelo’s Christian Vande Velde he is looking forward to that day. And with such riders as Millar, Zabriskie and himself at the helm the Argyle Army is a five-star favorite. Other favorites are Team Sky or Saxo Bank. Both of these squads have the horsepower to take the stage as well. The course is completely flat and only 23 kilometers long, so the time gaps will be insignificant. However the psychological damage to those who lose will immeasurable and could show any chinks in a team’s armor.

I’m in Paris and wanted to try and make a day trip to see Stage 2 of the TDF. Looking for input on how hard/easy it would be. Was trying to go by train / cab / bus without renting a car.
